Laurie from House to your HOME redid her basement on a $150 budget! I know there was a time when wood paneling was what all the hip kids were doing, but man, it really did make everything seem like a cave. I love the look of that wood paneling painted white! Such a dramatic change, like a carefree beachhouse! Or basement! Looks great, thanks Laurie!

Oh my gosh I love the way it looks white! We bought a house in May and there is a room in the basement(we refer to it as the dungeon room)with 4 walls covered in that hideous stuff. I have been told to paint over it but have not been able to picture it in my head. Thanks for the proof! I have a bucket of white paint down stairs and starting the process this week!! Thx
