Custom Bed

 Nov 17, 2009

Britt from A Penny Saved wanted to lighten up her dark wood bed, but didn't want to paint. So she found a solution using plywood, velcro and fabric! It was a pretty bed before, but now it is THE focal point of the room. I also love that it's not permanent and can easily be switched around. Check out her blog for a full tutorial. Thanks Britt!

I love the bed I couldn't understand why anyone would want to change it...till I saw the after! That is amazing!

That was a fabulous idea. Just a little change and yet it made a huge impact.

What a great idea, and so well done! When I saw the before, I was thinking "Oh no...don't mess with that gorgeous bed!". But it turned out fab.
