Record Player Entry Table

Sariah from Enchantresses 3 scored this old record player cabinet from Craigslist. I'm not sure how she managed to get it home, because my grandma has one of those things and it's so dang heavy it hasn't been moved in 40 years.
She gutted the inside and replaced the empty holes with beadboard, gave it one coat of blue and liked it exactly like that, experienced some frustration with new knobs, and ended up spray painting the original handles black, and there you go! Enchanting!

I'll have to be honest and say the before was better than the after. The blue is so basic that it seems to take the thrill out of the entire piece.

I love this! I wish I had the gumption to tackle something like this. I tend to shy away from "color" but I really love the blue. The Enchantresses 3 blog has more pictures of it too, which was fun to look at and see the process.

I want one of these now. Its a great idea for the peice because nobody needs the old stereo system anymore and I am dying for a buffet for my dinning room.
