Hyper-talented Becki likes things funky, ya’ll. Check out the furniture she redid for her baby girl’s room. Not a pink ducky or frilly doll in sight. I especially love how she redid the chair, I think it’s the solution for people (like myself) who want to be able to reupholster.
And whatever you do, do not click on THIS LINK, unless you want to OD on cuteness. 😉

That crib skirt is F-U-N! The bedding in a bag for cribs is ridiculously expensive, so this is a stylish and personal alternative. Thanks for sharing these projects with us!

The crib is adorable. I love the multi-colored skirt! But please, please take out the pillow. Pillows in cribs can be seriously dangerous to babies.

The makeover on the crib is cute, but is it actually being used as a crib? If not, it might be a good idea to say how it will be used. If it’s being used for a child, please check the safety.
Can you pass a tennis ball or cola can between the slats? If you can, they are too far apart, allowing a baby to slide out feet first and hang by their head. Will it take more than a 20 lb vertical force under the crib to dislodge the board or springs? What type of mattress is being used? And from the picture, it appears the posts on each end could allow a chocking hazard. What is the age of the crib? Many finishes or paints on older cribs contained lead. Did it have a model or any label information that could be checked for recalls?
Children spend a lot of time in cribs without supervision. Making the crib a safe environment is the utmost importance. Learn more on safety online or thru local juvenile product retailers.
Thank you for your ideas, creativity and care.
