Chrome Lamp

 Sep 3, 2009

I just can't resist a good lamp redo and this one is so fantastic, I see it in my dreams. Jaclyn of Soma Design found this lamp at a thrift store, gave it a simple coat of matte white and then covered the existing shade with $5 chromolux posterboard! It looks so great with the chrome accessories.
 Love love it!

That's amazing! It looks completely different and so gorgeous against that fabric in the bachground :D

That "fabric" is actually some fabulous wallpaper (graham&brown) that I was planning to put up -- the silver in the pattern inspired the lamp -- but I returned it because it cost almost 200 dollars just for a feature wall.
. . .maybe next year.
